Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)

Evidence-based approaches to understand and support individuals with challenging behaviours. We focus on identifying triggers and developing positive strategies for better outcomes. Our PBS approach is person-centred and focuses on improving quality of life.

We conduct functional assessments to understand the reasons behind behaviours, then develop proactive support plans that address underlying needs. Our approach emphasizes prevention, de-escalation, and teaching alternative skills while always maintaining dignity and respect.

Whether moving to a new home, changing day services, or transitioning to different support arrangements, we provide continuity and stability. Our transition planning includes preparation, familiarization visits, gradual implementation, and ongoing support to ensure successful outcomes.
